A maternity wing for Bamako's south district
Twelve thousand women share one delivery room. We are building six more, with clean water and night power.
Purpose
Fund construction and equipment for a six-bed maternity wing serving the south district clinic.
Mission
No mother in this district should travel two hours in labour to find a bed.
Why it matters
The existing clinic turns away an average of nine deliveries a week. The land is donated; the plans are approved; only the build is unfunded.
