Solid walnut and oak frames shaped by Scandinavian and Japanese hands, upholstered in bouclé, leather or wool, each piece carrying a narrow hand-woven panel and a gold diamond Z at the foot.

Maison Fabric Accent

Pagne Congolais and Bogolan, from Kinshasa, DR Congo and Ségou, Mali.

Each frame leaves the bench with one recess cut for cloth. A hand-loomed panel is stretched, set flush and finished level with the timber, so it reads as material rather than decoration — you feel the weave before you see it.

One recess per piece — the rest is wood, cloth and brass.
